Day 16 (treatment)

My day was kind of off schedule today.  Devin did get up early and made my breakfast for me.  Then we went back to sleep until 9am!   It sure was warm outside on our walk this morning.

When we got back home I flopped down on my bed.  Devin took this opportunity to get to work on my feet.
Corn 1
Corn 2 - it's only my second application and the corn is already starting to show itself rather quickly.
Devin continues to dig around Corn 1 with success.   Corn 2 is very sensitive. At a light grazing I pull my foot away from Devin.

We went over to Melissa's place this afternoon.  The twins were all over me again, Angel gave me her undivided attention - so much that she got "the muzzle" put on until she left me alone.

laying in my usual spot
Angel checking things out.
We were at Melissa's long enough this evening for me to have a foot treatment AND for me to get my teef brushed.
Corn 1
Corn 2

Devin picked up some bag balm to put on my feet.  While I laid on the futon i was given a nice foot rub with the balm.  When it's all said and done, i'm going to have the best feet in town!
Trying to catch a cool breeze.  It sure was hot there today.
Me and the twins
I'm quite happy to be back home in the a/c.  We did go for a short walk. I was on protest while at Melissa's. Sometimes you just need some quiet time and alone time to get things done.

Well, that's it for me...

Day 15 (Evening Treatment) Play date

Evening update:

Devin found another corn on my opposite foot, same pad location.  Devin was poking around checking my pads making sure all was okay when it was discovered.  A little side pinch of the pad and I pulled my foot away.  Devin then noticed the "core" type thingy.   Here we go......
safety in numbers  - chillin' with chicken after my bath
Hard to see, but here's the corn on my left pad
We went over to hang out at Melissa's today.  The twins were ALL over me. Jumping in my face and hoping over one n' other trying to get to me.
break for it!
Darn, too slow!
almost broke from from them.
It was so hot outside today that i found myself over at the trench that the twins dug a few weeks back.  I laid up behind the "rose bush" that the twins also ate.

Once inside, Devin gave me a ice cubes to cool down with.  I made a bit of a mess on the futon.
Me and Elly - she's never too far away
Er, hi there
Can we go back home and sit in the a/c

Evening treatment - Devin started on my other foot tonight.  I was feeling really geeked out with my two plastic wrapped feet and then booted.

Day 15 Treatment -Unexpected Spa Treatment

Devin apologized for being nearly 20 minutes late in getting home from work.   The truck is now fueled up for whatever we choose to do this weekend, and the water has been replenished.  I don't get any of that "special" water, only when i go to Nana's I steal Rye-Lee's.

So when Devin arrived home I was in the doorway poking my nose around the corner of the door.  Normally I can get found lounging in bed and needing a bit of encouragement to get up and get things going.  I mean, why would I want to move from a perfectly good spot?

We went for our morning walk and came home. I should have known something was up when Devin had closed my nest door before we ventured out.  Devin went in and ran the water for a bath, that's was strange in itself, as Devin ALWAYS feeds me first before doing anything else.    Then it clicked.   That bath wasn't for Devin, IT WAS FOR ME!!!

I quickly tried to find safety in my nest, only to be stopped short due to the fact that the door was closed, i tried to curl up into a little ball.  Just as I began to lay down in "hide", Devin got me to "move move" and off i wandered down the hall.  The first exit point was to my right. I went to veer off in that direction, but i was redirected down the hall. The next and last point of escape was to my left.  Nope, didn't make it into the bedroom.  I accepted my fate as I slowly made my way into the bathroom.  Devin helped me get my front feet into the bubble bath, i was okay to get my back feet in myself.    Scrub a dub dub, Milo was in the tub. *hmpft*

It actually felt nice.  My tail today wasn't so far between my legs it was almost up my nose sorta thing.  I was quite relaxed.  Sometimes it just feels greyt to be clean.  *note to self* I need to stop walking against/brushing against the trees/bushes after i've peed.  My bad.

After my bath Devin dried me off real good and dried out my ears.  I HATE having my ears cleaned since Devin made me squawk several months back.  I'm very much a "once bitten, twice shy sorta guy".

Once all the drying was taken care of, IT WAS BREAKFAST TIME!  I went crazy town and gobbled up my food.  The enjoyment of breakfast was short lived. Foot treatment time came next!

Finally, breakfast!

Devin gathered up my laundry. Between the two of us we had 4 loads!
My mountain of towels and blankets- heading to the wash
Then it was foot treatment time.  I tell ya, by day just keeps getting better, and better!
What on earth did i do to deserve such a spa morning?? *insert sarcasm*
knock it off with the flash Devin, it's too early!
omg, I'm blind. I can't see..hello? anyone...
Le sigh - to the bed.  Seems like the only safe place for me this morning
Most Phase 1 treatment
My feet were like pawsicles, Devin covered me up.
Post morning treatment.
So that's it for me for now.  I think i've had quite the exciting morning.  The excitement can stop anytime now.   On a positive note, I'm heading over to hang out with the Twins (and Angel, I mention the twins more, as they are more interactive with me...for as non interactive as i am).

Almost nap time.

Some People Just Don't Get Art (Day 14)

Last night Nana stopped in early, just for a moment.

I got busted.

When Devin left for work i had my KONGS.  Now with a full belly I was feeling rather creative.  I marched myself into the bathroom and pulled out 2 of the 3 empty toilet paper rolls from the garbage and quickly went to work.  I got a little too excited with the first roll and ate it, the second roll, not so much. I had some restraint while working into a wonderful piece of creativity.

Nana didn't see my creativity this evening.  Just picked up my mini "mess" and tossed it in the garbage.  She felt guilty after the fact and when she came back for my "out" time, she snapped a photo of it.  I suppose the garbage bin could be used as a prop in helping me to showcase my talent.   ..maybe....maybe??

Discarded work of art
I was crashed out on my bed when Nana came over for my "out".
concentrating - waiting
gave up, more waiting
I had a bit of a sneezing fit when Nana took me outside last night.  I was sniffing about and then went into a crazy fit of sneezing.  Acccchooooo!  That dry grass sure does tickle my nose.

While we were outside there was the tall skinny man who called over to us saying "Hiiii Marillynnn".  Not sure who Marilyn is, but Nana replied back with a hello. *strange*

When Devin came home this morning I was snug as a bug in a rug.  I was sleeping soundly on my bed in the bedroom with my blankets tossed about.  My eyes sure have been revealing my "inner self" lately.

My aura is shining through (Green): restful, modifying energy, natural healing ability. All natural healers should have it. People with a green strong point in their Auras are natural healers. The stronger the green Aura, the better the healer. They also love gardening and usually have a "green hand" - anything grows for them. Being in a presence of a person with a strong and green Aura is a very peaceful and restful experience. Green thought indicates a restful state and healing.

Projecting my green aura through my eyes
I did finally get up and wandered outside with Devin.  I had a good feed of sprouts this morning.

Once back home I had breakfast. After breakfast it was treatment time.  I rolled over when I was asked to.
The last few treatments I've even nodded off while Devin massaged my pad for me.
pre morning treatment
chillin'....
phase two - napping
post treatment

Devin was able to get a nail around my corn and continued to separate the bad from the good.
I don't think I'll have a treatment tonight.  Devin's back in on nights and it's a bit rough cutting corners with sleep. I can understand.  1 treatment missed isn't great, but it's not the end of the world.

Time for bed!
