Birthdays are for EVERYONE!

It's Devin's 34th birthday today.  I let Devin sleep in until a little after 6am.  I had breakfast then went back to bed for a little bit. That was my first birthday present to Devin.   We went on our morning walk. I wanted to cut down Nana's street but Devin said that we were going to do the big loop; and the BIG LOOP we did walk.

Nana came over after church to bring by my presents I picked up for Devin.  Nana had them at her place, she was nice and wrapped them for me. I get a little carried away these days when I see paper.  It might have been counterproductive had I tried to wrap the gifts myself.   Nana was reading a birthday card when I walked over to her, gave it a sniff and tried to eat it on her.   I guess I don't know my limits sometimes.

This was my favorite gift. Once unwrapped I tried to steal the heavy hammer on Devin. Devin caught me as I was sneaking around into my nest with it.

The tissue paper was taken away from me. I guess I'm not allowed to eat it.   Newspaper was put down for me instead. I lost interest after a few shreds.

 I started my 1 pill once a week for 6 weeks today
On Thursday I add in 1 pill once a week for four weeks.
I'm enjoying my toe rubs with the oil.  My feet are feeling a little rough on those toes. Devin was worried that I was sprouting another corn on an existing corn pad... I think it's just choppy, shall keep an eye on things.

Chicken and Sunday Shred!

Devin joined be in the living room again last night.. I slept in my nest while Devin slept on the couch.
We do this sometimes, It's nice to change things up. 

This morning Devin got up around 6ish to fix me my breakfast. We went back to sleep until about 7am. Again, my Jedi Mind Tricks threw some vibes Devin's way.  Devin looked over the ottoman and saw me laying on the floor, pointing in the direction of the door.  Sometimes I'm subtle with my "out" requests.  I like to think that Devin just gets me and knows when I have to do things. No words are needed.

We went for our walk, but not too far this morning. The sun was already beating down, it was a warm one.  We cut through the baseball field on the way home.  There was a tournament this weekend, The lines were all nicely drawn on the grass. I took stepped right down in a blob of chalk.

Later on in the day,  I decided to venture out from my nest. I laid with Chicken.

Devin thought I looked kinda bored.  Out came the newspaper!!!  While Devin went to get the newspaper I ran back into my nest.  I didn't know what was to come.

 After a few too many flashes of the camera, I disengaged and gave up on the shredding.  Devin got my attention again with Chicken.  I had a grand ole' time!

Chicken had to go to sick bay, I managed to tear a tiny hole in its foot :(  Out came the stuffy. Not as fun!

After the shredding madness, I tried to get Devin's attention - I had my supper, I wanted to go outside.  Devin still had to eat though.  Patience.... I let out a little squawk, just in case Devin didn't understand what I wanted.  I went back into my nest until Devin was done with supper.

We went on our evening walk, It was still rather hot out there.  I much prefer the cooler temps.
On our walk, Devin practiced the command "come Milo".  I was eager to get back when I heard those two words. I was rewarded with a piece of dried liver *yum*.

I've been okay about putting my boots on, these snacks i'm getting at the door are really trumping my *ack* towards having to put them on.  I fly up the stairs like a master, and slowly walk down with them on.

Post walk - Devin puttered, I made myself comfy on the couch.  *note wet spot to the left* I ate 2 ice cubes, made a mess. moved to dryer grounds. hehe*

Friday -

Arts and Crafts - Me crashed on my bed, waiting for Devin to come home.

Devin finished up nights Friday morning and puttered around. Before going for our walk, I landed a case of the crazies as Devin calls them.  I zipped around and flew my things about. Just as I was going for the angel in the corner (photo above) Devin put a stop to that. I quickly chilled out, when I was told No.

We went on our morning walk, then came home to sleep, or so I thought that that is what we were going to do.    Devin ended up heading out a few hours later to see Erin and baby Preston.

Devin brought home a few strange smells.  I was full of sniffs...Interesting.... I smell little human and small dog.  Interesting....

 I quickly forgot about the "cheating" when Devin brought me out to the car to pick up a few things.

 I went to town on Chicken.  Last time I had a chicken was when we came home from the east coast (last year).  Chicken then, didn't last very long. I ended up eating him to pieces.   This time I had a rockin' good time. It's lasted 2 whole days now - only a few little cracks. Still safe to play with.

 Saturday -

Devin slept from 7pm last night until 5am this morning.  Still tired from staying up the previous day after working, We went outside for a quick "out" this morning, then back in.  Devin went to bed, I went to work. 
CHICKEN!!!  Devin called out to me  a few times to tell me it was too early to be playing with that toy.  I continued on.    Devin got back up and served up breakfast.  I went back to right after filling my tummy.  Devin put my chicken over on the corner chair.  I forgot about it, and quickly went into slumber.

Later on today, i got myself turned around in my nest, and had a hard time getting up and or out. Devin had to pull me out a bit so I could right myself.  Thank Goodness for Devin!
