Day 13 - Evening Treatment

I wasn't suppose to have a treatment this evening as Devin's working nights.  BUT... Devin got up after a brief nap and got to work on my foot. 

We are running a bit behind on time.  Apparently "Time" matters in the human world.  We'll have just enough of it to finish up my treatment, do a quick "out", have supper and KONGS.

Day 13 Evening treatment:

 Devin made things kinda fun this evening while we waited for phase 1 to be over with.  I got my teefers brushed!  I don't know how I didn't like that in the beginning.  I loooooovvveeessss it!

Wow, that was record time.  We still have 10mins before it turns to 5pm. 
I'm back in from my walk and a brief trot.  Supper was delicious as always!

Something new with me:  I gulp down my water after i'm done eating.  Maybe it's the change in formula?
I went from a 1-5yrs  to 5+ formula.  
Devin also noticed that my thighs are balding some and my bum hair is thinning out.   Could it be from the foot cream? Food change or time of the year??

 Devin had a hard time getting me off the couch after my treatment. I was more than content (that and my treatment boot was replaced with my walking boot) laying on the couch.  I had the pillow taken from me, collars put on, i still chose to lay there.   Devin finally got me to "move move move" and up i popped.

Devin was able to get a fingernail in and around my corn again today to help separate the good from the bad.  We're on our way!

Almost nap time.  Devin work nights tonight.  Nana will be over to hang out with me at some point.
Nana said today that she doesn't mind cleaning my KONGS for me, but she draws the line at picking up shredded paper from. *hehe*

Cirque du Soleil (nest style), Pre Canada Photos and Evening Treatment Photos

So I've been thinking about getting a job. I can get into all sorts of unusual positions.  Think Cirque Du Soleil will have a casting call for greyhounds?? Or for guys with my abilities?? 

I found myself sideways in my nest last night.  Sometimes I like to feel squishied up in there.

Such an eventful day today.  After my long walk this morning I found myself going between my nest and my bed.

When I curl like this, I don't look like i'm 5ft 7 in length.

When I woke up from my nap...Wait, let me rephrase that, when Devin woke me up from my nap, i got my teeth brushed.     I've come a long way since the coming home with Devin.  When we first started this brushing of the teef thing I thought Devin was trying to kill me!  We would brush a tooth every night, gradually worked up to more teef until finally i had my whole set of choppers brushed.  Now, i get excited when Devin says "wanna brush your teef".  If  I'm laying down i perk up and "move move move" closer to Devin for my brushing.

 I went with Devin over to Debbie's house. There are a few people from where Devin works who get together for "occasion" photos.  You may recall the Easter Photos I was in?   The photo shoot for today was "Canada Day".  They are a bit early on this one.

Day 12 Morning Treatment

My usual routine this morning:
Up early for breakfast
Back to bed
Got up and laid in the doorway.
Got up, shook myself
Devin asked me if i wanted to go outside
I got all excited, full of tail wags and happiness
Devin got out of bed
I went back to bed

My secret eye powers were revealed here

I was excited about going outside, until i realized that would entail me having to get into that boot.  I quickly went back to my bed and laid down.  Devin got my leash and collars, put them on me, i still laid there.  Devin finally got me to "move move".  Once outside I was in my glory.  The rain we got yesterday brought the grass back to life; YUMMY sprouts everywhere!!!

Today on our morning walk we did the COMPLETE big loops. We haven't done that in ages. Normally I cut down the road that leads me to Nana's house.  This morning Devin got me to cross the road and on we continued walking.    There were lots of voices over in the schoolyard today.  I stopped to take in the sounds a few times.

 Here we are at Day 12 with my Corn Treatment.  Devin was able to get around the corn and separate it some from the good part of my pad.  I didn't even give the wide eyed look, instead I just laid there with my eyes closed letting Devin do what Devin had to do.

I came home this morning to find my nest door closed.  In protest of my morning treatment I slinked beside my nest and laid there.  

Yeah, that didn't work.  Devin got me.
