Marathon grass chewing and potential Job at a toothpick factory

Yesterday while I was out on my afternoon walk, we ran into Dave and his Rottie "Beau".  She's always happy to see me, as I am her. We do lots of sniffies, then she tries to get me to play. I stand there looking at her while she zoomies around me.  She's so silly.  While Devin and Dave were talking, I decided to pick up small twigs and eat them.  Devin stopped me a few times, and took them out from my mouth. Devin told me that if i didn't stop it I was going to end up pooping toothpicks.  Whatever that means?? *chomp chomp chomp*   It soon became a losing battle, Devin just let me chomp on them.
  *Twigs, my new favorite thing!*

Last night I had a major case of the ETS's.  While laying on the couch- post corn treatment, my tongue found its way out of my mouth.  Apparently Devin found this to be quite amusing, as there were several photos taken of me like this.  *hmpft*

This morning**
I woke up at 0332hrs, I let out a few whimpers, Devin got up to see what the matter was. I NEEDED to go outside.  Devin slipped on my collars and opened the door.  I ran full speed down the hall to the second door and up the stairs and to the "outside" door. I waited eagerly for Devin to clip on my leash.  I flew out the front door with Devin on the other end and made it straight for the grass.  I mowed, mowed and mowed some more.  Devin could hear my stomach gurgling while I mowed away that the grass.

After 9 mins of grass eating, Devin asked me if we could go inside.  I followed Devin inside, I laid down on my bed, with my stomach still gurgling, I let out a little whimper, Devin asked me if I had to go outside.

I shot to the door again.  We took a nice stroll through the village, I nibbled some grass, had a few pees and sniffed about.  The stars were shinning brightly in the sky. While I sniffed about, Devin stood looking up and around.  We agreed that "country" living is nice.   We walked the loop,  My gurgled less after I took care of things.   Once back home, we went to bed until 0722hrs ( i have something with the number 2, ha no pun intended today), I was ready for my breakfast. Up we got, I ate my breakfast, then stood around looking "off".   Devin asked me what was wrong, I just stood there looking kind of lost with my tail hanging down.

Devin asked me if I needed to go outside, I didn't react in a very enthusiastic way. I moved rather slowly.
Going from half standing on my bed, to standing in the middle of the living room, to back over near my bed.

Devin dressed me up in my "cold weather gear", and off we went for a morning walk. I didn't venture too far away from Devin, I pretty well stuck near by.    My stomach was all out of sorts today - Devin thinks it might have been the chicken foot I had yesterday.  My tummy isn't used to them.  Good thing Devin is a good catcher!!  Thank you Lucy's Mum for showing us the "catchers mitt".  After that, I trotted off. My stomach felt much better!

Too much information sometimes, I know.  :)

Once home, Devin gave me my morning corn treatment. A  little tug and shift on Corn 2, just to remind it that it needs to come out.  Corn 1 hole still being treated. Corn 1 area is rather squishy to the pinchy touch.
Because I didn't have my socks on long last night, Devin decided to put my socks on after my morning treatment.

Now i'm just relaxing on my bed beside the couch.

We didn't blow away

It sure was windy last night.  Luckily all we really got in these parts was a lot of wind.  The power flickered a few times last night, but nothing compared to what has happened to others.

Devin and I went on several walks today. I had a greyt time sniffing and wandering about.  We stopped at Nana's on our way home from our morning walk. I flew up the driveway to say hi to Nana, my "hi" was short lived I whipped myself right around to the door to go inside.  Once inside i made my way to the snack cupboard.  I have my Nana trained well. She always gets me treats when I go over.

Once home, Devin convinced me and helped me up on the bed. I was more than willing and wanting to go on my bed to lay down, but... Devin got me up on the big bed.  It wasn't so bad sharing the bed.  I don't think I'll make a habit of it though.
Nappies after my morning walk
After my afternoon walk I sprawled out in my nest.  Devin told me I was going to get a stiff neck with the way I was turned around in there.  I was having such a good sleep, I was in full roach and ETS mode.
A little ETS... z z z z
Here is why Devin thought I was going to get a sore neck - out cold
Oh how i love my nappies
Devin snagged a few photos of my corn.  Corn 2 is really sensitive to the touch.  Corn 1 was like that too just before it broke off/fell out.

I had a wonderful time with Chicken tonight. I was full and P n' V when  Nana came over for an evening stroll with us. I was all over the place with Chicken. I had to stop a few times to get a drink of water.  Weee Weeee weeeee!

Nana is gone home now for the evening.  Time for me to have my nightly treatment and head to bed.

Happy Birthday To Meeeee - 6 years old today!

Greytest birthday yet!!

I woke up this morning at 6:15hrs ready for breakfast.  Devin reached over and gave me a birthday scritch and said "Happy Birthday Milo", then asked me if I was up at 6am because I turned 6yrs old today.

Breakfast was served, Devin crawled off to bed. When I didn't come back to bed Devin was wondering what was up.  I was having an independence moment and decided to just have a snooze outside my nest after filling my belly with goodness.
Post breakfast snooze

Devin came out and sat with me for a little bit. When Devin went back to bed, I followed this time.

After my quick nap, Devin presented me with my birthday cake.  I didn't even wait for Devin to finish singing happy birthday to me. I NOM'd it right off the plate.  I chomped a few times on it in my mouth, the darn near swallowed it whole!

Oh, me has fully belly....
We went on a nice long walk up to the beach this morning.  We haven't taken this route in ages.  It was sure nice to sniff new things. I even nibbled a few blades of grass along my way.
At the beach :)

When we got back from our walk, Devin brought out my present!!!! EEEEEeeeeeeee eeeeee!!!!!
At this point I was having more fun tearing the gift bag into pieces
Shredding - do I have something in my mouth???
Lambie cuddles
Devin cleared out my nest for me.

Heeeeyyyyyy
hmm....
Thank you!
I'm liking my new Lambie. There's only one problem, I can't get it to squeak.  Devin can do it, but I haven't figured out how to do it just yet.  The squeaker just drivers me nutty!

Nana came over with more birthday gifts for me!

Hmmm...what's in here???
I've almost got it!!!!

Another CHICKEN!!!!  That's what I was smelling in Nana's closet the other day.  CHICKEN!!!!!

Paused for some dental hygiene care :)

After all the excitement, Devin did my corn treatment and put my socks on for me. I ended up wandering into the bedroom for a nap.

 ~On a quick corn note~

Devin emailed a few photos of my corns (yesterdays photos) to Lori in Ireland.  Here's what she had to say:

"What you are seeing is the corn pushing out of the body so its great news - its all heading the right direction.  Over the next few weeks it should be ready to come out and you can gently help this as it should become almost ready to fall out.  I had a lady just last week show me similar pictures and another yesterday to show them gone!  She was able to put her nail underneath the corn and it came away.  When they do come out they will leave a little hole but this will heal over.  Its all very encouraging that Milo has responded so well to Homeopathic treatment, I am very happy to hear this".

Isn't this wonderful news!!!  Thank you Gina for helping Devin to kick start my treatment the other week.
Looks like I am well on the road to recovery.

This turning 6 is some serious business and calls for serious nappies!
