Evicted From Nana's Day Care Services

Last night Devin brought me over to Nana's to hang out for the night.  I was laying on my bed surrounded by my blankets when Rye-Lee came by and started sniffing my blankets.  I let out one heck of a bark/growl and flashed my teeth  I scared the bejesus out of Nana (who was sitting on the couch eating supper) and Papa George (who came running from the bathroom to see what happened).  It didn't take Rye-Lee much time to find his way back up on the back of the couch.

Nana brought me home a while later. I made a direct run for my "nest".  I hung out there until Nana got me my KONG. 

When Devin came home in the morning I was still curled up in my "nest".  We had breakfast, went out and then went back to bed.   I didn't make even 1 (one) attempt to get into bed with Devin.  I'm still not sure about that steamroller incident.

Sneaky..Very Sneaky...

Devin can be real sneaky!

I hadn't stirred but a few times last night to grab a quick drink of water then wander back into my "nest".  
This morning I had breakfast around 7am. Devin was really sneaky and closed the door to my "nest" while I ate.  I did protest "outside" though. Once done my breakfast Devin told me it was time to go outside.
I slinked off in front of the tv and dropped myself down to the ground.  Devin didn't give in to this protest.

Out came the winter coat, then the head muff (head muff while i was standing at the door). I was sure glad to have that on this morning!  
I'm happy to report that my tummy is back to full operating systems. 

Once back in the house, it was time for Devin to workout.  Again, photos below show my support.

Night shift tonight. I think Nana is coming to hang out with me for a bit tonight.  I like the company.

Protests - So Tired....

Devin has been bugging me for the past few hours to go outside.  I really can't be bothered.
Getting your nails trimmed sure does take a lot out of you.

I'm on pee and poopie protest this evening.  I just want to be left alone, I didn't get my 12hrs of sleep in today, i'm kinda beat.  The only time I left my nest this afternoon was to have supper.

I have been using my chew toy as a pillow.  Devin was picking up my toys the other day and thought to clear out my "nest" for me.  No sooner did Devin take the green bone (it's hard to be good - chew toy) out from my "nest" and put it into my toy box, i marched myself out to the toy box, picked it up from under the other toys and brought it back into my nest.  I didn't play with it or anything, I just wanted it to be with me.


I think I picked up this open mouth toothie sleep thing from Devin.  The only difference, I don't droll. hehe

Spa Treatment

Gina trimmed and filed my nails for me. She's the best!  I feel like a million dollar now.
All that pampering though made me rather sleepy. 

Before we could go home we stopped off at the pet store to pick up a big bag of my "new" food. 
I'm such a hit wherever I go. Everyone is always complimenting me on my "soft coat" and beautiful markings.
I had an incident in the store where I walked past a turning stand thingy, my coat got caught on it and it came with me, I tried to run frantically away from the scary noise, but it followed me a short movement. 

One of the girls gave me a yummy snack after the "big scary" rack tried to chase me.  I'm sure getting spoiled today. Gina gave me a few treats too after my nails were done. I showed her how i can "sit".

After the pet store we went over to Nana's for a quick visit.

Once Bitten, Twice Shy...

Check out our skating rink!  most of the sidewalks and driveways are like this.  I wonder if Devin can pick me up a pair of skates?? Maybe Gina can sharpen my nails today so I can get some grip.  Hmmm

 Once bitten, twice shy.  Remember my story about how Devin steamrolled on top of me by accident the other night?  While Devin was getting ready for bed I helped myself up into the "big" bed; only this time I kept to the center of the bed.  Smart of me, eh?

As soon as Devin started to crawl into bed I hopped down and made myself comfy in my bed.  I slept there the whole night.

To Nana's house we go....

Let me tell you, it was well worth the wait.  It's sooo comfy and cozy and well, I look pretty handsome in it too.  After picking up my parcel we went to Nana's for a visit.

Health side note*
My tummy seems to have restored itself. I'm not pooping nearly as much as I was last week, and all is back to it's normal consistency  - well for the most part.  Feels good to be back on track again.

Like A Black Ninja In The Night....

Last night I was sneaky and got up on the bed while Devin was getting ready for bed.  I had myself pressed up against the pillows, but not sprawled out like I normally do.  Devin didn't see me and went full pin into bed; crashing against my stomach/bum.  I didn't make a peep; I got up and went to get off the bed. Devin apologized to me several times, citing " i didn't see you there".  Devin tried to keep me up on the bed, but I had enough trauma for the night and made my way to "my bed" beside Devin's bed.

Found a comfy semi quiet spot while Devin cleaned the carpets today.

Oh, bother....

 Devin went to the post office to look for my parcel.  Apparently it should be in tomorrow morning.  We were really hoping it would be in today.  Oh well, You can't always get what you want.    I didn't fuss any when Devin left the house to go to the post office.   I'll tell you though, I kept a keen eye on Devin though for the remainder of the afternoon.

 Devin went out for a haircut today.  Leaving him home alone with 4 filled KONGS (kibble and pumpkin).
When Devin returned I was a panting mess upon greeting.  I was stressed thinking Devin would leave me again.   I'll get over this, it's just going to take some time and work on both our parts.


Devin couldn't figure out what I was doing under the couch, I managed to wiggle myself under the couch;  up to my mid ribcage.  Devin told me there wasn't anything under there to eat; I KNEW otherwise.
Devin counted my KONGS and realized that one of them was from the other day, it hadn't been lifted.  Under the couch we both went.  I accidentally pushed my KONG under there while Devin was out.

Tomorrow we go see GINA at 1pm for my nails.  They seem to be growing like weeds lately. No real pavement to wear them down on.

ELVIS HAS LEFT THE BUILDING!

To Nana's house we go.....  Disregard the look of terror in my eye.

Devin dropped me off at Nana's this morning and had to leave me rather quickly. I had a look of "Where are you going"  on my face while Nana pulled my jacket up over my head.  Before I could blink twice Devin disappeared out the door.

Nana had my bed already  made up for me. I made myself comfy!
I did get my nose a little out of joint today when Nana tried to get me to go outside and when she tried to put on my collar.  I had a case of the growlies. Nana put me straight quick though. Nana won, we went out for a walk :)  It's never that bad ONCE i get outside. It's the work up to it. *ugh*  Really who wants to leave a warm comfy bed???

I had my nose out of joint. Nana upset me. Maybe if i cover my head....If i can't see her she can't see me???

Le sigh....

I had a real good sleep at Nana's. My back legs were running a while a minute. Nana asked me if i won my race. hehe  My Nana is funny!

I went to the door this afternoon to let Nana know I needed to go outside.  Once outside, Dutches (the black lap from next door) came running out at me. I didn't care much for this. I jumped up on my back legs and let out a growl (When Devin heard this, I was told, too bad I don't do this when "strange" people approach).  Dutches did this a few times to me, I didn't like her running at me like that.. AT ALL.  I think she eventually got the point.

I did meet up with the two white shepherds. They were so happy to see me, as was I happy to see them. They are soooo gentle with me.  Why can't everyone be like that??

Not much going on here tonight.  Once back home I had the last of my "tummy" pills.  Devin gave me my pills with some pumpkin tonight. By the time i figured out what was in my pumpkin it was too late to spit them out, they were halfway down my throat.  gobble gobble

With the way the weather is shaping up tonight I'm going to need my raincoat for tomorrow. *blah*
