On the road again...

Where do I even start with my day?

I'll back it up to yesterday...

Nana was wonderful, she came over a few times to let me out and to feed me my supper. Devin had to go out of town for an appointment.  I think Devin and I were equally happy to see each other.  *happy sigh*

We slept out in the living room last night; I feel like this is sorta becoming a habit.  Anyway, Devin woke up briefly around 5 am to see the power go off, it stayed off until about 7am.   In between those hours, Devin managed to drop the cell phone.  It fell on to the baseboard heater, directly on its corner.   I heard Devin mumble something about "gorilla glass my a**".  I went back to sleep for a bit.   Devin got me up around 6am or so, We both had breakfast by candlelight and tried to go back to sleep for a little bit.

After the power came back on and the sun "turned on", we went for a walk and stopped over at Nana's.
Nana was looking at recipes in the cookbook. I thought I'd give her a hand.
Look n' Cook??   I'm looking, where's the cooking??
A little later on we went over to Melissa's to help her put the tarp on pool.  The twins were sent into the house on account of them being too rambunctious to stay out of the way. Us seniors, Angel and I were allowed to hang around outside.
uh, can we go inside too?
please?
I guess not... Whatcha wanna do now?
A little futon time. ahhh comfort!

Angel and I did go back outside.  At one point when the twins were outside I did actually try and play with them.  My stupid boots though started to fall off and Devin ran after me to take them off.  That was the end of my playtime. I lost the ambition.    When the Twins went inside, I did go a little crazy down and thought I'd help dig a hole that they started.  I dug a few times, stopped, then took off like a bullet. Angel tried to catch me. haha

enjoying some rays
Devin tossed me one of the twins toys.
chomp!
next up - grazing
Here's the hole I tried to help dig for the twins
too much work after the sprinting and digging...
My latest obsession.... TIGS!  BRANCHES!!
When we arrived back home Devin drew my bath and got me to come into the bathroom.  A little snack motivation never hurt anyone.  Devin even told me to get into the tub, and I climbed right in. For being such a good boy I was given another little treat.  Devin kept my boots on me for the duration of the bath, only taking them off a few times to rinse me down.  Those boots in the shower sure do help a lot!
Clean!  snuggling up with sheepie after my bath

I was being really quiet this evening, Devin came to check on me.
roach central!  I tried to cover up, but it didn't work very well.

Sunday Double Post - Cheetah Dog!

On our way back home from our walk this afternoon, there were two little girls jumping around on pogo sticks in their driveway.  Devin told me that Devin and Shelley (Devin's sister) used to do that when they were younger.  *Boing Boing Boing*

The youngest of the two girls said: ewwww a dog!
The oldest of the two girls said:  It's a Cheetah Dog!

This photo best displays how I feel at the present moment:

Humans sure do have wild imaginations.
Examples:

-The other summer, a lady thought Devin was walking with a deer. ???

-Another little girl thought I was a Tiger.

My morning and afternoon after my corn treatment was pretty low key. Devin had the windows open, it was a bit chilly. I spent several hours snoozing under blankets.  I lovesssss blankets! I love blankets almost as much as I love pillows.

Lambie on guard while I nap

Marathon grass chewing and potential Job at a toothpick factory

Yesterday while I was out on my afternoon walk, we ran into Dave and his Rottie "Beau".  She's always happy to see me, as I am her. We do lots of sniffies, then she tries to get me to play. I stand there looking at her while she zoomies around me.  She's so silly.  While Devin and Dave were talking, I decided to pick up small twigs and eat them.  Devin stopped me a few times, and took them out from my mouth. Devin told me that if i didn't stop it I was going to end up pooping toothpicks.  Whatever that means?? *chomp chomp chomp*   It soon became a losing battle, Devin just let me chomp on them.
  *Twigs, my new favorite thing!*

Last night I had a major case of the ETS's.  While laying on the couch- post corn treatment, my tongue found its way out of my mouth.  Apparently Devin found this to be quite amusing, as there were several photos taken of me like this.  *hmpft*

This morning**
I woke up at 0332hrs, I let out a few whimpers, Devin got up to see what the matter was. I NEEDED to go outside.  Devin slipped on my collars and opened the door.  I ran full speed down the hall to the second door and up the stairs and to the "outside" door. I waited eagerly for Devin to clip on my leash.  I flew out the front door with Devin on the other end and made it straight for the grass.  I mowed, mowed and mowed some more.  Devin could hear my stomach gurgling while I mowed away that the grass.

After 9 mins of grass eating, Devin asked me if we could go inside.  I followed Devin inside, I laid down on my bed, with my stomach still gurgling, I let out a little whimper, Devin asked me if I had to go outside.

I shot to the door again.  We took a nice stroll through the village, I nibbled some grass, had a few pees and sniffed about.  The stars were shinning brightly in the sky. While I sniffed about, Devin stood looking up and around.  We agreed that "country" living is nice.   We walked the loop,  My gurgled less after I took care of things.   Once back home, we went to bed until 0722hrs ( i have something with the number 2, ha no pun intended today), I was ready for my breakfast. Up we got, I ate my breakfast, then stood around looking "off".   Devin asked me what was wrong, I just stood there looking kind of lost with my tail hanging down.

Devin asked me if I needed to go outside, I didn't react in a very enthusiastic way. I moved rather slowly.
Going from half standing on my bed, to standing in the middle of the living room, to back over near my bed.

Devin dressed me up in my "cold weather gear", and off we went for a morning walk. I didn't venture too far away from Devin, I pretty well stuck near by.    My stomach was all out of sorts today - Devin thinks it might have been the chicken foot I had yesterday.  My tummy isn't used to them.  Good thing Devin is a good catcher!!  Thank you Lucy's Mum for showing us the "catchers mitt".  After that, I trotted off. My stomach felt much better!

Too much information sometimes, I know.  :)

Once home, Devin gave me my morning corn treatment. A  little tug and shift on Corn 2, just to remind it that it needs to come out.  Corn 1 hole still being treated. Corn 1 area is rather squishy to the pinchy touch.
Because I didn't have my socks on long last night, Devin decided to put my socks on after my morning treatment.

Now i'm just relaxing on my bed beside the couch.

Corns and Finding my voice

Last night Devin came home early from work.  I was found up on the big bed, crashed out cold.

I stayed there for some time before retiring to the living room for the night with Devin.
I got up at 5am, Devin is terrible at this playing possum game.  With a few little yelp/yip/barks Devin asked me what I needed, I spun around in circles, Devin asked if I wanted breakfast.  I yipped back, hoping Devin would take that as a YES, DO YOU EVEN NEED TO ASK ME THIS???   After breakfast I crashed for an hour before needing to go outside.

Devin took me to see Gina today, she trimmed my nails up real good.  I didn't even pay attention to her Siamese cat who was at first hiding in a shelving area beside the stairs we had to go down, and then she was up on the counter. She meowed a few times, but I couldn't be bothered. I was more interested in wandering around, checking things out around me.  Gina has so many smells at her place. It's a good sniffing time!
Oh and Gina gives yummy treats too!  Thank you Gina  :)

We went back home and relaxed for the remainder of the day.  Nana came over earlier on and we went for  a walk together.  When we got back home, Nana served me up supper.  She told me to Sit and Wait while she put my food down for me. I listened :)

After supper Devin went into surgery with Dragon, Lambie and Baseball.  Surgery was a success, as each "friend" came out of surgery I managed to find their stitch lines and chewed around the area.

*Corn update*
When Devin went to give me my morning treatment, I was missing Corn 1.  There was a small dip in my pad where Corn 1 was, there's still a small corn like substance in there, but when Devin pinched my pad on either side, it felt pretty mushy.

Corn 2
More and more each day, Devin can lift that one up and away from my pad.  Patience is needed with that corn.  After all it hasn't been around as long as Corn 1.

Photos from the past few days and today:
I got mail!  More corn treatment from Lori in the UK
Devin thought this was a good idea
Oh how I humour you Devin...
I did some shredding the other day - After trying to steal a few papers on Devin, Devin grabbed from my secret stash of newspapers from hall closet and gave me a small section to play with

I think i'm done now...
big bed allll to myself last night. Or so i thought...
 Surgery today -

Waiting for Lambie to come out from surgery...
waiting can be so painful sometimes... Airplane ears
Lambie is that you???
Checking out the toy chest - i only ever grab things from there when Devin is getting ready to go out.
Back to Lambie..
Nibbling on Dragon when I hold Lambie down
