Part Of A Family Tradition

Last night Devin had to head out for a meeting. I was given my usual KONGS to keep me entertained for the first while.  I've been very successful with my separation anxiety and KONG "therapy".  Too bad Devin hadn't figured this one out before me being on that dopey clomicalm.  Ah well, trial and error, eh?

When those KONGS come down, I'm all...Devin, who?? haha
NOM NOM KONGS
z z z z ... z z z z..... (last night)
This morning Devin woke up I was stretched out against the bed.  Devin often wonders why I have so many "large" things to lay on when half of the time I choose to hang out or off of them.

Even when I rest I look like i'm racing

Devin didn't want me to have another repeat of when I managed to get myself half stuck under the bed and unable to turn about to get up, so I was flipped on to my other side, and off we went outside for our morning walk.

Flip!
After our morning walk it was time to do my foot treatment.  Devin made up my KONGS for tonight while my feet "cooked".  Sometimes when Devin is done making up my KONGS I'm allowed to lick the yogurt out of the bowl. Today I got the spoon too!  Devin said Nana used to give the beaters to Shelley and Devin to lick when she was baking.  I'm part of the tradition now :)
Moving seems almost too much of an effort sometimes...
Phase 2 feet still "cooking" - I love fuzzy things! *zzzzz*
all done, back to sleeping (again)
Here i'm doing my "praying mantis" pose

And the photo below is why Devin questions why I need a 4 foot + nest to hang out in.  I tend to hang halfway out of it on most days. Pretty lucky to have all of those pillows and soft things to lay on.

Nana time tonight - Devin works nights for the next couple of days.
See you later on Nana!

The Nana Files

Nana came over last night to take me out. I was most comfy on the big bed and couldn't be bothered to raise my head when she came into the bedroom.

 *Flash*  Photo one was taken
*blink blink*

Nana dropped only 2 craberries in my dish.  I'm getting good at sound counting. I didn't move.  Silly Nana had to drop them in there a few times to get me to come out from the bedroom.  I suppose silly me, i fell for the double/triple drop.

I went outside and did what I had to do.  Nana didn't have to ask me, unlike the previous night.
I'm comfy - not moving protest
Nana expected me to come running for these.  haha
Eventually the joke was on me.  I did *hmpft*
Waiting for Nana to do her thing - THE KONG TIME!  until then *mope mope*

Yesterday before work Devin had to turn down the air conditioning. The first indication that I was maybe on a bit of the chilly side was when I used my armpit as a nose holder/warmer.

When Devin came home this morning from work, I thought i'd play it cool today and wait on the bed.
I had a few wags of the tail, but looked lovingly - something I don't do too often.

On the move, looking for some sprouts - i didn't mow too many lawns free of charge today.

Cuddles while waiting for breakfast to be served
Happy :)

Nana is back over again tonight!   One more human sleep, then Devin and I can hang out.
I think we may be going over to see the twins and angel tomorrow.  It's suppose to be real hot. MAYBE I'll use my pool yet.

100% Back In The Game Today!

I feel amazing today.  I  slept really hard last night. I know, how is this different from any other night?
I woke up feeling completely refreshed and ready to start my day at 530am. Yup, that's right!

I know Devin played possum with me a few times, then got up to give me my breakfast. I was STARVING from not having much to eat or drink yesterday.  Once I had a fully belly I was good to go back to bed for a while.  We went on our usual morning walk, I was bee boppin' along at a good pace.  On the last part of our walk we went over to Nana's for a visit.
Nana gave me a few frozen green beans *yum*.  I even shared with Rye-Lee :)

Back home we went, nothing too exciting happened there.  Devin finally managed to convince me to join the world and go out for another walk.  We went down the long strip; guess who we saw yelling hello out the window at us as they drove by??? Fae :)

I had a special supper tonight, Devin added in a can of sardines for me.  I inhaled those suckers right back!
It's always nice to have a treat here and there with supper.

I guess that's about it for me.  Nothing too exciting to write home about.  Still waiting on my collars, The postal service is so silly.  Oh well, they will get here when they get here.

PS - Devin had to go into town today, I was given 3 KONGS and kept myself busy.  When Devin came home I was found up on the big bed :)

No More Clomicalm for me!

last night when Devin came to bed I was kind of monopolizing most of it....
I was told to "move move over" -  I decided it would be more comfy on my bed.

I woke Devin up with my feet hitting the dresser - I was out cold.
working on a possible back flip -  2012 summer Olympics here i come??
 Teeth update:
Devin brushed my teeth this morning with my new tooth brush. My gums didn't bleed at all!
With a bit of resistance, Devin managed to brush my bottom front and top teeth.  It felt weird!
Clean Teef!

Hangin' out with sheepie
Can I guy get a little privacy while he naps??

Pre Season "Swimming" - Greyt Day At The Dog Park/Beaches

Devin called up Nana and asked her if she'd come to the dog park with us.  Nana said yes!
Devin packed up a mini park/beach bag for me, complete with:
*pitcher half filled with ice cubes
*my favorite baseball stuffie
*towel "in case" in decided to go for a dip

Nana and Devin took turns tossing my stuffie for me to chase after.  I haven't lost my "racing touch", 3 strides and i was full speed ahead!

I met a new friend there, 10 month old chocolate lab. We chased a few balls together, but quickly branched off and did our own thing.

From all my running around I was toast!  My tongue was hanging out of my mouth, I could have almost tripped on it.  Er well, maybe not, but you get the point.
Nana and Devin brought me down to the beach area, where I did not hesitate for a second before walking right on into the water and plopping myself down in there.  Devin had to follow me out a little bit; Apparently it was cold - Devin said the water felt about as warm as Florida did last winter (50F).  I didn't mind one bit.

Good Ole' Devin was worried that the water was too cold for me, and thought I was having trouble getting out of it.  That wasn't the case at all, I was pulled up out of the water, only for me to look at Devin and Nana, turn my back to them both and plopped right down into the water. I wasn't ready to get out.
There's a language barrier between us, what I wanted to say was "i'll get out when i'm ready to get out, thank you very much".

After the beach we packed up and drove home; Devin decided to take the parkway back; we popped out at my beach that I went to "off leash" in the winter.  We all went for a little stroll down on the sand.  It feels so good to have the sand between my toes.  Why can't the roads here be like this instead of having all those tiny little holes and bumps???

I didn't go into the water this time, I just dipped a few toes and walked right back out.
I'm feeling pretty exhausted from my eventful day.  I wasted no time slipping into my "nest" when I got home.

Devin said there should be park and beach video up shortly - We will try and attach it at the end of all these photos.
