Did Someone Have An Accident In the House? Devin?

Where do I even start with how my day went today??

Devin arrived home from work, came to say hi to me. After taking one step inside the hallway, instantly assumed I had an accident in the house (haven't had an accident since I was sick last year), another step, then another... It was only after the 3rd step that it became apparent to Devin that either I had a VERY large bladder that emptied (even after Nana had been here for me earlier in the evening) OR something was definitely leaking.  Devin opened the door to the storage room, and there was about 2inches of water sitting on the floor and growing. The carpets were soaked, I came out from the bedroom and took a step on the carpet.  I thought Devin peed on the carpet or something, my feet just squished right down. I was absolutely disgusted and crept off to my "nest".  For the record, the water tank/heater blew sometime last night while Devin was at work.
Lost amongst some of the items from the storage room.

What's going on??
The landlord came down to take care of the problem.  Devin was in and out of the apartment a lot, this really set me off. I cried up a storm and didn't want to be left alone, nor did I want to be left alone with the landlord.
Devin did put down a KONG with cranberries, but I managed to maneuver it to the point that I had them all gobbled up before Devin put one foot out the door.   My eyes were blood shot (i was stressed), and I was upset. Could this day get any worse for me, i wondered??

You see what was suppose to happen was:
Devin comes home
We go for a walk
We come home
I have breakfast
We go to bed.

It's all about patterns.  NONE of which happened for me today.

I did get a few extra snacks today to try and make up for the chaos that was tossed my way.
I know, some would call me dramatic or a Diva. I like to call myself sensitive to change :)

Anyway, Devin cracked open the chewnola's that Auntie Shelley/Mat/Parker sent up for me.
The chewy got to be about 3 inches short, Devin and Nana watched me like a hawk then decided before I choked on it, it would be in my best interest that it was taken away and disposed of.

*cue jaws music*
Nana in the background, CHEWNOLA!!!! NOM NOM NOM NOM NOM NOM
I had cookie all over face, paws and up my legs.

Devin tried to tempt me with dried liver treats and used the Bull Wrinkle to poke it out of my mouth, at times, but wasn't fast enough to grab it up. Finally the Wrinkle was used to cover over top of it, when Devin went to take it away I did a nose strike with a growl towards Devin's hand, my head was already pressing towards my chewnola.... I was told "I don't think so!" It was removed without injury. I looked frantically for it, i knew it was just right there, how could it disappear so fast??
I'm slowly learning.  I must admit though, I don't get the whole, give and take thing.

Together we'll work on this one.
Giving dirty looks, where did my chewnola go??? I know someone took it. which one took it ???
Devin cleaned my ears today - *random* I was good for my left ear, but when it came time for my right ear (Devin hurt me once before by accident), I've been super protective each time since when Devin goes to clean that right ear of mine; today was no different. I let out a little protest "yelp" but not really, and quickly turtled pulling my head into my chest, and covering both my ears with my paws all curled up.  NO ONE was getting in there. hahaha   Well, or so i thought.  Devin did get in there, but didn't put the drops in. Just on the tissue and cleaned about.   *le sigh*  I was completely disgusted after that experience, jumped off the couch and went to my nest. I proceeded to give dirty looks from a distance.
sticking out my tongue
giving Devin the silent treatment - ignoring you....

The above aside it was an okay day.  Devin has the A/C in now for us. *YAY*  It's suppose to be real hot this week; or so Devin mentioned to me.  I hate the heat.  BRING ON THE SNOW!!

After such a crazy unscheduled/unorganized day, it's time to hit the hay.

100% Back In The Game Today!

I feel amazing today.  I  slept really hard last night. I know, how is this different from any other night?
I woke up feeling completely refreshed and ready to start my day at 530am. Yup, that's right!

I know Devin played possum with me a few times, then got up to give me my breakfast. I was STARVING from not having much to eat or drink yesterday.  Once I had a fully belly I was good to go back to bed for a while.  We went on our usual morning walk, I was bee boppin' along at a good pace.  On the last part of our walk we went over to Nana's for a visit.
Nana gave me a few frozen green beans *yum*.  I even shared with Rye-Lee :)

Back home we went, nothing too exciting happened there.  Devin finally managed to convince me to join the world and go out for another walk.  We went down the long strip; guess who we saw yelling hello out the window at us as they drove by??? Fae :)

I had a special supper tonight, Devin added in a can of sardines for me.  I inhaled those suckers right back!
It's always nice to have a treat here and there with supper.

I guess that's about it for me.  Nothing too exciting to write home about.  Still waiting on my collars, The postal service is so silly.  Oh well, they will get here when they get here.

PS - Devin had to go into town today, I was given 3 KONGS and kept myself busy.  When Devin came home I was found up on the big bed :)

No More Clomicalm for me!

last night when Devin came to bed I was kind of monopolizing most of it....
I was told to "move move over" -  I decided it would be more comfy on my bed.

I woke Devin up with my feet hitting the dresser - I was out cold.
working on a possible back flip -  2012 summer Olympics here i come??
 Teeth update:
Devin brushed my teeth this morning with my new tooth brush. My gums didn't bleed at all!
With a bit of resistance, Devin managed to brush my bottom front and top teeth.  It felt weird!
Clean Teef!

Hangin' out with sheepie
Can I guy get a little privacy while he naps??

Roaching in my nest.  It took almost 2 weeks, but balance has been restored with my "bed situation"

Being Adopted Has It's Perks :)

Boy was I ever tired from all my traveling the other day.  It sure felt good to be at home.

la la la    la la laaaa  la la laaaa la la lalalaala (guess that nursery rhyme)
Cuddling with Grampa Brian's pillow

We were on the last part of our walk this morning when Dana spotted us; she came over to say hi. She is always full of compliments saying how handsome I am and how good I look, what a good boy I am. I tell you, she's the one to go to if you're ever having a low self esteem day. *hehe*    I'm really not sure how we got on the topic but she went inside and came out with 2 frozen chicken feet and a beef neck for me.  Devin said we'd try that later on in the week.  Being adopted definitely has its perks;  Everyone just wants to make up for my "non domesticated" years by giving me tons of things. *hehe*  You won't see me every complaining!

My teeth are getting cleaned tomorrow.    Hopefully I'll walk out of there with a Colgate smile and all the teeth I went in there with.  Too bad Auntie Shelley didn't live closer, maybe she could scale my teeth for me throughout the year??

Frozen chicken feet, beef neck

 Right Side Teeth:
A bit of tartar/plaque build up.
Back teeth a little dirty, or stained, not sure...

  Front Teeth:
My lower front jibbies are worn down quite a bit.

Left Side Teeth:

Back teeth, lower a bit of build up
wayyyy back teeth dirty/stained, not sure
Little spots/chips in front teeth, hopefully not cavities. Eeeeep

Tomorrow is technically the last day of my clomicalm.  The receptionist said we'd see the difference within a week if I wasn't ready to come off of it.  I think i'm feeling just fine.  Yesterday Devin had to pop out to the car for a moment, I had a few soft cry moments, but nothing like I had been doing before.   Not to mention, Devin and I had just come in from a walk when this happened; It's what I do when Devin leaves fast after dropping me off.  It's all good :)

Likely more photos to follow later, who are we kidding; it's way too early in the day. :)
**in an hour or so Devin is going to go check the post office again for me, Maybe today is the day???**

Pre Season "Swimming" - Greyt Day At The Dog Park/Beaches

Devin called up Nana and asked her if she'd come to the dog park with us.  Nana said yes!
Devin packed up a mini park/beach bag for me, complete with:
*pitcher half filled with ice cubes
*my favorite baseball stuffie
*towel "in case" in decided to go for a dip

Nana and Devin took turns tossing my stuffie for me to chase after.  I haven't lost my "racing touch", 3 strides and i was full speed ahead!

I met a new friend there, 10 month old chocolate lab. We chased a few balls together, but quickly branched off and did our own thing.

From all my running around I was toast!  My tongue was hanging out of my mouth, I could have almost tripped on it.  Er well, maybe not, but you get the point.
Nana and Devin brought me down to the beach area, where I did not hesitate for a second before walking right on into the water and plopping myself down in there.  Devin had to follow me out a little bit; Apparently it was cold - Devin said the water felt about as warm as Florida did last winter (50F).  I didn't mind one bit.

Good Ole' Devin was worried that the water was too cold for me, and thought I was having trouble getting out of it.  That wasn't the case at all, I was pulled up out of the water, only for me to look at Devin and Nana, turn my back to them both and plopped right down into the water. I wasn't ready to get out.
There's a language barrier between us, what I wanted to say was "i'll get out when i'm ready to get out, thank you very much".

After the beach we packed up and drove home; Devin decided to take the parkway back; we popped out at my beach that I went to "off leash" in the winter.  We all went for a little stroll down on the sand.  It feels so good to have the sand between my toes.  Why can't the roads here be like this instead of having all those tiny little holes and bumps???

I didn't go into the water this time, I just dipped a few toes and walked right back out.
I'm feeling pretty exhausted from my eventful day.  I wasted no time slipping into my "nest" when I got home.

Devin said there should be park and beach video up shortly - We will try and attach it at the end of all these photos.
